Fillers in Fort Washington, PA

Injectable dermal fillers (or simply fillers) are often used to replace lost facial volume or enhance the lips and cheeks. Faces often lose volume for a number of reasons, but weight loss and the effects of aging are commonly to blame. This treatment works by injecting the filler beneath the skin to fill sunken, hollowed areas or plump the lips and accentuate the cheekbones. Injectable fillers are an excellent, minimally invasive alternative for Fort Washington, PA, and Lansdale, PA, individuals desiring to even out wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin to create a younger-looking face. They can also be incorporated into other aesthetic procedures to achieve the results of a traditional facelift without going under the knife, the risk of scarring, and the associated downtime that follows. We offer a variety of fillers, including JUVÉDERM, BELOTERO BALANCE®, and RADIESSE®, that can customize your dermal filler plan to meet your unique aesthetic goals. To find out which products are right for you, we encourage you to visit Spa 361 at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute, where Dr. Aradhna Saxena and her experienced team can help you learn more.

Prior to your procedure, Dr. Saxena or a member of her team will consult with you to gain insight into your cosmetic goals and decide what product will best produce them.

Treatments are performed in private minor treatment rooms in one of our two greater Philadelphia, PA, locations. Dermal fillers are injected with a fine gauge needle, so most patients do not need a numbing cream or local anesthesia; however, if you are nervous about discomfort, it can be requested during your consultation. The injection sites will be cleaned and prepared before the treatment is administered in several quick applications. Your aesthetician will apply pressure after each injection for a few minutes to stop any minor bleeding, but then you are free to leave and resume your normal activities.

Spa 361 at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute offers multiple dermal filler options, each with its own range of specialties and benefits. Our line includes BELOTERO BALANCE, JUVÉDERM, and RADIESSE. During your consultation, we’ll talk to you about what you want to achieve with your filler treatment and what each filler can do for you.

  • BELOTERO BALANCE – A hyaluronic acid filler specifically designed to smooth and reduce moderate to severe lines, creases, and wrinkles in the lower facial area (smile lines, lip lines, chin wrinkles, lines around the mouth). Results can last up to six months or longer.
  • JUVÉDERM – A hyaluronic acid filler with five formulations that can replenish facial volume loss, reduce lines and wrinkles, enhance the lips and cheeks, and more. Results may last 1 – 2 years.
  • RADIESSE – The first and only FDA-approved CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite) filler with two unique formulations to diminish and smooth smile lines, jowl folds, chin wrinkles, replenish lost volume in the hands, and more. Radiesse also stimulates collagen and elastin production with results that can last up to a year or longer.

The best candidates for injectable fillers would be anyone in good overall health looking to decrease the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines without resorting to a surgical facelift. Usually, those with significant signs of aging or who have recently lost a significant amount of weight can have areas on their face that are sunken in or uneven. This makes them great candidates for injectable fillers. Fillers are also a promising option for those who are not comfortable with the scars that can result from a surgical facelift. And for those who want fuller lips and to accentuate their cheeks, dermal fillers can help them enhance their look with a quick, easy treatment session.

If you are feeling insecure about your signs of aging but aren’t interested in undergoing major surgery, then dermal fillers could be the perfect solution for you. Fillers can create younger-looking, voluminous skin without the risk of scarring or long recoveries afterward. They can also enhance and improve your facial features to help you achieve the look you’ve always wanted. For more information and to book a consultation, call Spa 361 at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute in Fort Washington and Lansdale, PA, today to begin your journey to a more voluminous appearance.
