While we are young, our skin is smooth and youthful due to natural resilience and an abundance of collagen and elastin stored in our bodies. As we get older, our skin loses elasticity and firmness as these natural nutrients become depleted, which leads to visible signs of aging like static facial lines and wrinkles.
At Spa 361 at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute, we offer numerous cosmetic and medical dermatology services, including Belotero Balance injectable wrinkle filler. Belotero treatments are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to help improve the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles throughout the face, including stubborn, etched lines and the nasolabial folds around the mouth. A nonsurgical solution, Belotero is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler that helps you achieve a rejuvenated, natural appearance.
"My teenage daughter and I are both patients of Dr. Kasper. The reception area is modern and bright. The reception area staff is always welcoming. Dr. Kasper is friendly and efficient. Wait time is short, which I appreciate. I am thinking about booking an aesthetician appointment or two in the near future."- M.A. / Yelp / Jun 30, 2019

Belotero Balance treatments are helpful if you want to improve the look of moderate to severe facial lines, wrinkles, and folds without the time and expense of surgery. Belotero is especially great for lines around the lips and mouth, like the nasolabial folds, and the tear toughs. Before your treatment, one of our experienced aestheticians will perform a consultation to go over your medical history, current medications, and known allergies to determine if you are a good candidate for Belotero.
Belotero treatments are performed in private minor treatment rooms in one of our two greater Philadelphia locations. Belotero is injected with a fine gauge needle, so most patients do not need a numbing cream or local anesthesia; however, if you are nervous about discomfort, it can be requested during your consultation. The injection sites will be cleaned and prepared before the treatment is administered in several quick applications. Your aesthetician will apply pressure after each injection for a few minutes to stop any minor bleeding, but then you are free to leave and resume your normal activities.
What to Expect
After your Belotero treatment at Spa 361 at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute, you may have some mild swelling, redness, or bruising near the injection sites. These will fade naturally over the next week. You will see some results right after your treatment that will continue to develop over the next two weeks. The results of Belotero usually last about six to eight months, so talk to Dr. Aradhna Saxena about when to schedule your next appointment to enhance or maintain your results.
